Minolta
16MG B&W Gallery Two
Here are a
lot more photos taken with my Minolta 16MG. All were shot on Kodak
Double-X black and white negative movie film (7222) which I loaded
into Minolta cassettes myself. Click here for all the technical
details of shooting, developing, printing and scanning the photos
below. I decided rather than bore everyone with the details, I'm move
them off by themselves so those of you who don't care don't have to
read 'em! I will briefly caption the photos and give a little
information as well on this page.
Minnesota
State Fair
This guy is manning
the Bee section in the horticulture building. There are actually
hundreds of honeybees in that hive. Taken available light in very dim
room 1/30 f:2.8.
In the 4-H building.
Someone had done a portrait of our Governor with kernels of corn!
Also in a very dim building 1/30 f:2.8 with built in close up
lens.
My daughter Krystal
loves "Fudge Puppies". Made by "Granny" from an old country recipe
that requires special fudge imported for the secret ingredient. Here
with her brother Ryan about to indulge. f:11 about 1/200.
Jesse Ventura Booth
at the fair. f:16 1/250.
Some kids on a ride
(not mine) F:16 1/250
Same kids (still not
mine) actually riding on the ride. F:16 1/250.
Sno-Cone booth.
Night. F:2.8 1/30.
One thing about our
fair, nearly every thing is some sort of food on a stick. Here's
Walleye on a Stick Inside very sim building. F:2.8 1/30. Frankly, I'm
amazed I could even print this one.
Airventure
Oshkosh
I took my 16MG and a
small full frame 35 rangefinder with me to Oshkosh. It was painfully
hot. I basically forgot I even had the Minolta in my pocket so only
took a few shots. Three simple aircraft shots are here, all in bright
sunlight F:16 at 1/250.
Car
Shows
Been to a few car
shows. These are a few from a couple of them. Mixture of indoor
available light and outdoor shots. Outdoor were all at F:16 1/250,
inside all at F:2.8 at 1/30.
One final unrelated
photo. My folks live near a pond where geese tend to gather and roam
around the complex where they live. I happened up[on this herd of
geese one morning and whipped the Minolta out of my pocket for a
quick shot.
Well that's it for
now. Check the links below for more good stuff
